Interior walls
They are slowly going in. These walls will not get dry wall. Here is the OSB that will go under the tongue and groove boards.
Log Home here we come!
If we could we would have made this any actual full log home. It just isn't in the cards for us for a few reasons and truthfully that is ok. We have started the long process of adding the log siding. I can't wait to see how it looks when it's done. The color is a little bright right now because it's been treated with stains and sealants but the color should mellow after a few seasons of being weathered.
I love this view. It makes it feel real to me finally.

Corner Posts
We got the siding and the process is starting. Here are the corner posts that make the siding all work together.
My front yard
Jesse has been spending a lot of time evening out the ground around the house to get ready for having a yard in the spring. I can't wait to see green grass instead of brown mud!
Our furry friends
Here is furry friend #1 Kayla with our furry friend #2 Nate. (He'll give me heck about saying that later.) Kayla is the only furry friend that will probably ever be allowed in our house since Steve is not a "pets in the house" kind of guy. It was sure fun having her around for a few days though. She's adorable!!!
